INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
Note some international counties no longer have door to door tracking services. This is due to changes within the USPS global shipping union. For these countries tracking will be limited once the parcel leaves the United States. Because of this, we ask that international buyers stay vigilant for parcel notices from their postal services as tracking will not alert them that a package needs fees paid or is ready for pick up.
Due to limited air cargo capacity, the U.S. Postal Service is shifting select mail from air transport to sea transport in an effort to move mail from the U.S. to international destinations. If a mail item shows on USPS tracking it has left left the United States (last scan is from an International Service Center or ISC), under normal circumstances, the U.S. Postal Service has no further visibility on that item until a transit country or the destination country provides updated tracking information to its system. Sometimes, it is possible to get more updated tracking by using the destination country’s postal service online tracking tools if the item has entered the country.
Typical Priority Mail shipments that usually take about 7 to 10 days will now take about 4 to 6 weeks. The U.S. Postal Service is now advising it may take up to 60 days to process an insurance claim for lost or damaged international shipments. Your patience is appreciated.
