Thank you to everyone who came out to see my solo show, "Woolgathering", last month at the Lyman Center for the Performing Arts in New Haven. It was a wonderful event, and I am very grateful to everyone who made it a success!

I recently did an interview about my work in a journal called Les Femmes Folles. They are an online publication supporting female artists. There are some wonderful interviews and stories about different women - lots to be inspired by!
Click here to read the interview! It seems like all of my latest paintings have a tropical vibe to them. I guess my subconscious is dreaming of summer. I am really feeling the peaches, purples, and teals right now:
Here is a little process video of a new painting that I started recently. There is still a lot to do but I am happy with the direction so far! Here is a short timelapse process video of one of my recent paintings, "Alight": This is the finished piece:
This past weekend I had the pleasure of participating in New Haven's annual City-Wide Open Studios event at the Amory, which is an old abandoned gun factory. The event was so much fun! So much work went into this by everyone involved, and it definitely payed off. I met many wonderful people and saw lots of interesting and beautiful artwork. Looking forward to next year!
Today I was very lucky to be invited to visit the studio of artist Richard Lytle. I was blown away by the colors, the compositions, the fluidity, and the sheer size of his work. There is nothing quite like seeing the very place where an artist's ideas come to life. The experience was awe-inspiring.
I am incredibly honored and excited that Richard will be displaying a few prints of his paintings at our studio/gallery for our June art show for Massaro Farm, which will feature the work of several artists who have been friends and supporters of the farm over the years. The reception will be on June 4th, from 2-5pm. |
